2017 Landscaping Victoria Industry Awards

  • The Landscaping Victoria Industry Awards for 2017 are now officially open for entry!

The Awards reflect excellence in maintenance, design and construction works across residential and commercial landscaping applications completed by Landscaping Victoria members from around the state.

We are very pleased to announce the inclusion of new awards categories for 2017:

    • The Natural Built Environment Award
    • The Innovation Award

Additionally, there are now two separate awards in Landscape Management and Maintenance for Residential and Commercial entries.

All projects entered into the Awards are judged against set criteria and awarded points for meeting those criteria. A minimum level of points must be obtained by entries to be considered for being awarded a win in the category, or to be acknowledged with a Highly Commended or Commended certificate.

It is possible that multiple entries will be awarded a Highly Commended or Commended, subject to the points allocated.

The Industry Awards are not about competition with other Members - you are effectively competing against yourself to achieve recognition of excellence. You do not need to have been in the industry for decades to be eligible for an award, so new and emerging businesses are encouraged to enter.

The Awards of Excellence exist to not only promote excellence in design, construction, innovation & professionalism across the industry, but to support the values and ethics of the Association through the promotion of our members who work to those high standards.

Winning an Award of Excellence, or being acknowledged with a Commendation, can become a key part of your marketing strategy. You can utilise the awards to validate your business; stamp yourself as a leading industry professional, and let your current clients and future clients know that you and your team are hard-working and dedicated to your profession.

Considering the benefits and the positive impact awards can have on your business and employees, we cannot emphasise enough the importance of making a submission into this year's Landscaping Victoria Industry Awards.  The first step is always the hardest! Make this year the year you take that step.

Entry to the prestigious Awards of Excellence is available exclusively to LV Members.

All entries will be charged at a flat rate of $110 (inc GST) per submission, excluding 'Apprentice of the Year' which has no associated costs for entry.

    ***NEW REQUIREMENT: Client Satisfaction Survey***

    • The survey itself has 3 sections, Design, Construction and Maintenance.
    • If the nominated project is being entered into both a design and construction category for example, then both relevant sections should be completed by the client.  Not applicable sections can be skipped.
    • Ensure that you communicate with any other companies that may be submitting the same property/project for consideration, to ensure that client is only asked once to complete the survey.
    • The survey aims to streamline judging, reduce client hassle and ensure Judges are not delayed in attempts to contact them.\

Please forward this link to your clients to complete the survey: https://landvic.typeform.com/to/Cdsg1M

Enter today! We look forward to seeing a wide variety of entries from many members.
(All entries must be received no later than 5pm on Friday, 14th July 2017 via the online submission form. Please contact LVHQ on 1300 365 428 if you experience any difficulties with your application).
